Ueshiba Morihe

Aikido was created by Morihei Ueshiba (植 芝 盛 平 Morihei Ueshiba, 14 December 1883-26 April 1969, referred to as ousensei 大 先生, 翁先生 "great teacher"), which diformulasikannya since the late 1920s until the 1930s. Ueshiba Aikido prepare and develop from various koryu (martial arts / art long sword) into a first unik.Dojo martial art of Aikido was established in Tokyo and is still there and called Aikikai Hombu Dojo.
Ueshiba wanted not only as a combination of Aikido martial arts, but also the expression of his personal philosophy which is peace and universal. All his life, Ueshiba and his disciples have spread Aikido in a way to educate and create the martial arts practitioners all over the world. Ueshiba died on 26 April 1969 from cancer, but Aikido is still growing rapidly after his death.
